2011 - Lululemon Lab

I designed and developed the pattern for the first seamless roll-top, high-waisted legging for lululemon at a time when they were stuck on selling low waisted leggings with uncomfortable elasticated seamed waistbands. They sold well and were adopted into the mainline 2 years later in 2013 and became one of lululemon’s top selling styles - the Align Pant.

2012 - Lululemon Headoffice

As the sole designer of the Tri Pod Team, I was tasked with bringing an innovation project to market and developing a supporting collection for the Booby Bracer bra. This product was designed for D-cup customers, and additional styles were needed for A-C cup customers. I created a cup-specific collection of fully bonded, molded bras with tailored support levels for each cup size and breast tissue volume, using variable strap widths, back constructions, and adjustability features.

At this time there were no bras on the market that used such a sophisticated method of construction combining free cut Italian warp knit fabrics, dot bonded sew-free technology, precise support specific construction and variable under bust elastic based on cup sizing. It would take the rest of the activewear industry close to a decade to adopt this technology.

2012 - Lululemon Head Office

I designed the Light As Air Underwear for Lululemon using an ultra-light 56 gsm Japanese fabric with a bonded enzyme treated gusset and free cut finishing.

2016 - Girlfriend Collective

I had the opportunity to design the Girlfriend Collective leggings that gained significant popularity, selling over 100,000 units in three months. We introduced the first interlock fabric leggings, paving the way even before Lululemon adopted interlock construction for their updated Luon fabric.

Aligning with the founder’s vision of sustainability and my personal focus on body positivity, I designed and developed the initial collection of bras, leggings, and t-shirts, which remain staples in the brand's lineup.

2017 - Langerie Athletics // Huijie Group

I developed a series of bras over several seasons using 40D free-cuttable fabrics, incorporating dot bonding and custom trims. At that time in China, sports bras were predominantly cut and sew. I was inspired by a simple “sleep bra” I discovered in the chinese market which I adapted it to create a higher support bra. By utilizing higher modulus bonding tapes and fabrics, we created a more supportive range of bras without sacrificing comfort. This innovative construction method was later adopted by many brands and has since become a common practice in the industry.

2023 - GROOW Guangzhou

I developed a silicone encasing structured bra to improve the stability and support without adding additional weight.

2024 - GROOW Guangzhou

I created a double knit seamless collection using two different yarns with different fibre content in order to create a push/pull effect which absorbs sweat from the body and pulls it from the bottom layer to the top layer and disperses it in order to improve drying time.
